Fresh tea leaves are brewed within eight hours of harvest, then the brewed tea is frozen into pods. The eight hours refers to the journey from harvest to brewing, not shipping or delivery time.

No tea bag, strainer, or brewing equipment is needed. Only the brewed tea pod goes into your glass, followed by water. Removing the tea bag from your cup does not by itself establish a measured zero-microplastic result for the finished drink.
